Many blogger wrote very content-rich articles yet never really put in effort to market them. As a result, they never maximize their article exposure in the blogosphere. What’s the point of writing a good article yet very few people know about it?

As you know, Stumble Upon is one social bookmarking site that may easily drive hundreds or even thousands of visitors to your blog easily whenever someone gives you a stumble. So the trick I am going to use here is very simple. All you need to do is to add a Stumble button to the header of every blog post like what I did to my blog.

What You Need To Do?

1. Go to your theme editor and edit your index.php (Main Index Template).

2. Search for the following line (or something similar)

<?php while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>

3. Enter the following code immediately after above line.

<a href=”http://www.stumbleupon.com/submit?url=<?php the_permalink(); ?>&title=<?php the_title(); ?>”><img src=”http://everythingaboutfacebook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/stumble-upon.gif” mce_src=”http://everythingaboutfacebook.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/stumble-upon.gif”></a>

4. Update your changes.

Note: If you face problem finding the line specified in point(2), kindly check back with your theme developer on how to do it.

Try not install any other button other than the Stumble button to get more effective results.

Results:- This is more effective to ask your blog readers to give you a Stumble easily as the button is there to “remind” them to do so.
