Sounds impossible? Well I guess not. Most people thought they may not be able to get any link juice from No Follow blogs which generally they are right because most blog owners (especially those high PRs) would not like to give out too many outbound links.

But now, there is way you can do it. Look for blogs that have “Top Commentators” widget installed. Comment heavily (yet properly) so that you can get in as one of the Top Commentators. If you check your link in Top Commentators, you will realize that links within are all non-no follow. Which means you are getting quality back link from them. However, depending on how frequent the blog owner reset the Top Commentators count, your link may not exist for long.

Note: Please comment properly by not posting comments like “Yes, I agree”, “Wow, great post”, “I totally agree with you”. Post quality comments, not quantity comments.

Do you participate in forums daily? Are you aware that posting in forums that support DoFollow, we can use signature links to increase our back-links which will indirectly have a positive effect on our PageRank? It may seems old trick to some of you, but I thought it would be good for me to share it here.

I guess most of our blogs (like mine here) is still living with a PR0. Hence, I suggest we should start working on our PageRank now.

I came across a site that collect a list of web forums that supports DoFollow and with at least PR3 & above. Read the list here.

To encourage my loyal readers to leave more comments, I have made the following changes to my blog template today. This will serve as a good news to top commentators especially.

1. Removed “No-Follow” from Comments – I know most of you can’t wait that I do this. But I have been too busy to activate this feature until now.

Note: With this, when you comment on my posts and leave a link, you could get a link back that not only sends traffic, but increases your number of external back-links, which can help increase your search engine ranking, as well as your relevance on sites like Technorati.

2. Installed “Top Commentators” widget - In order to recognize the effort of Top Commentators, I have install this widget to show the top 5 commentators whom left the most comments in my blog.

Note: I have set the counts to reset after every 30 days. This is to ensure consistent commenting in a long term basis.
