Today, I will go a step further to share how you can create article with killing content to attract and impress your readers. These techniques are essential as they will help you to profit tremendously if you are selling through articles, as well as save a lot on hiring a copywriter to write articles for you.

5 Basic Elements To Write An Article With Great Content:

1. Meaningful And Eye-Catching Title Or Headline
2. Impressive Introduction Or Summary
3. Rich And Unique Content
4. Conclusion In Your Own Opinion

(1) Meaningful And Eye-Catching Title Or Headline

A meaningful and eye-catching title or headline determines whether your readers will read your article content. Below are some good examples.

An “How-To” example: Instead of “Make Money Blogging With Adsense”, you can change it to “How To Make $10,000 A Month Blogging With Adsense”. Sounds better?

A “Problem-Based” example: Instead of “Make Money Blogging With Adsense”, you can change it to “Top 10 Reasons Why Many Bloggers Failed To Make Money Blogging With Adsense”. How is it this time?

(2) Impressive Introduction Or Summary

An introduction or summary will further explain your title or headline. Failing to impress them with an impressive introduction will fail to attract them to continue to read on. You should write some related or important information which you believe your readers will need to know before they continue reading. The first paragraph of this article will be a very ideal example.

(3) Rich And Unique Content

Content is king. Hence with great content, it will determine whether if you can make sales and profit from it, or attract your readers to come again for more. To learn how to write great content, I believe it should always come with a great idea and make into points form. Elaborate your points further into one or two short paragraphs. If you are stating a fact, always support it with proof to increase its credibility.

Whenever you run out of idea, you can always find some by visiting other guru’s blogs, article directories or forums. Read their latest posts or discussions to find some hot topics to write about.

(4) Conclusion In Your Own Opinion

A conclusion is the part for you to comment about your points or tips at the end of your article. You should keep it short and brief and not in long paragraph. You may also recommend a product/service related to your content. Otherwise, you may like to encourage your readers to follow you on twitter or subscribe to your RSS like what I did.

(5) Resource Box And Author Bio

The last and most important part is the resource box and author bio. A resource box provides free advertising for your articles if you submitting them to article directories. Always remember to include some related link(s) or article source back to your site. If you manage to write good content and able to sustain your reader to the end, he might be interested to read more information about the author. By including your links, you stand a better chance of someone clicking and visiting your website. Great isn’t it?

An author bio which contains information about the author (yourself) can increase the credibility of your article too. Example, if you are an asthma specialist, your article on how to improve a patient’s asthma condition will certainly carry more weight than a normal writer. Hence, remember to introduce yourself well in the author bio paragraph.

2. Squidoo Or HubPages

Social marketing sites like Squidoo or Hubpages allow you to register with them for free and market your affiliate products or services through them. However, they may charge you a commission for every sale closed. Squidoo now act as a middleman to Amazon, CafePress, eBay, Netflix, and Orbitz to allow you to market your products easily.

3. Own Website Or Blog

I think I need not elaborate more on this since I have been writing a lot of articles on how to create a blog and optimize it for SEO with the right keyword. Once you get some free organic search engine traffic, simply type some online ads on your blog with your affiliate links and get some product sold through this method.

4. Forum And Signatures

There are tons of free forums out there. Most of them allow you to place a signature at the bottom of your every post. Think of an eye-catching title like “How I Make $10,000 In My First Month Of Online Business?”, link it to your affiliate link so that when people see it, they find it interesting to click on it. However, you need to participate heavily in the forum in order to see some results since the number of posts you participated determines the amount of exposure your affiliate link gets.

5. Article Submission Sites

Famous article submission sites like ezinearticles have been gaining popularity in recent years as they have tons of visitors everyday and they provide free article submission service too. To market your ads, simply create an account with them and submit your content accordingly. However, some do not allow you to sell your products directly in the article content hence what you can do is to share your knowledge or thoughts that are related to the product/service you are going to offer. At the bottom, simple create your affiliate link so that after your readers finish reading your article, they will be interested to know more about the product/service you have to offer.
