SEO & Blogging: StumbleUpon Exchange Campaign
I wrote an article previously on StumbleUpon “Add Me To Your StumbleUpon” on 03/01/2008. Fundamentally, it is a social networking site that allows bloggers like us to socialize and review on others’ blogs with similar interests.
After going through some thoughts, I have decided to come up with this StumbleUpon Exchange Campaign to increase my SU exposure.
How it works?
-Give me a “I Like It” stumble if you like my blog.
-Add me as your Friend if you wish.
-Write me an honest review of my blog eg. Do you enjoy my blog? What you hope to see in future or how I can improve it further?
-Drop me a comment below with your URL.
2. In return for your favor, I will…
-Do the same for you.
-Write a short review about your blog (min. 3 sentences) with 1 back-link to your blog, in my next weekend weekly post.
On a weekly basis, I will select a review which I am most satisfied with and as a form of reward, the blogger shall be entitled to place a 125 x 125 banner on my blog main page for 1 whole week.
My target is to receive at least 10 responses for this campaign. Let’s work towards it.

SU gives you more traffic if you pay it. If no, -no. Reviews do not change the situation for you surely and gives you nothing in sense of any PR. Useful (maybe) is voting, so I vote you now. If you can, do it for me too, if no -no problem, I think it gives nothing as traffic.

Hi Liudmila,
thanks for your comment. I beg to differ your opinion. Why I said so. It really depends on how you look at it.
Let me paint a scenario:
1. Blogger(A) visits Blogger(B) Stumble page and add Blogger(B) to his Stumble favorites as well as give Blogger(B) a good review.
2. Blogger(A) promotes his Stumble page to other Stumblers eg. Blogger(C).
3. Blogger(C) views Blogger(A) Stumble page and at the same time read Blogger(A) rating and review on Blogger(B) blog. If Blogger(B) receives many reviews, it may also attract his attention too.
4. Blogger(C) finds that Blogger(B)’s blog shares the same interest and worth reading, so he visits Blogger(B) blog.
In this way, through adding to favorites and reviewing, Blogger(B) is receiving more traffic.
Please correct me if I am wrong. I am open for discussion.
A very good example will be, I just written a good review for YeePage and added him to my Stumble’s favorites. If you visit my Stumble page, you will see my review on his blog here.
Also, I will include you in my weekly post on this coming weekend.
