Social Networking: BlogCatalog, More Than Just A Social Blog Directory

Blog Catalog is more than just a social blog directory on the internet. Initially, I think otherwise. But after I joined this site, I discover that it does more… and much more… than a normal blog directory.

You can promote your blog here by adding your blog to the category of your choice, participate in discussions with fellow bloggers, join neighbourhoods with neighbours (bloggers) whom share the same interests as you.

It also has its very own ranking score (based on 100 pts) which uses a special formula to analyse your hits, views, comments, neighborhood members and other special secret ingredients. The higher your score, the better your blog placement on Blog Directory & Search Results it becomes.

To make things even better, you can create your own widget and display on your blog so that you can promote your neighbourhood, check out your recent visitors or even display recent discussions.
