RSS Feed (according to Wikipedia) – “…the user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed’s link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. The reader checks the user’s subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.”
There are many methods to increase the number of RSS subscribers to your blog. Jai from BlogOhBlog.com published an article that provides 30 best tips to maximize your RSS Feed Subscribers. Personally, I find these tips very useful and should be shared with all of you.
1. Making the most out of your blog posts.
2. Comments should be encouraged on every post of your blog.
3. Give people different options on how they want to subscribe as readers.
4. Try to choose a topic good enough to strike a conversation between the readers and the authors.

Yea…same here. Some times the RSS feed numbers are off, but then again, my blog is not aimed at making profits right now. It’s relatively new, and I think getting new readers and maintaining returning readers is the most important aspect for me. Great info here though. Keep up the good work!
If you run contests, one of the rules could be the winner must be subscribed to your feed. I’ve seen that done quite a bit. Jai has a good, lengthy list of tips.
